Sutherland Timber is a family owned and operated company located in Kaiapoi.

Established in Tuatapere over 100 years ago, Sutherland Timber continues to grow and develop, with an annual output of 20,000m3 of Douglas Fir and Pinus Radiata.

We pride ourselves on making use of all waste products from the milling process. 

As well as heating our timber drying kilns, sawdust, bark and scrap wood byproducts are used by other local businesses to produce a range of garden and landscaping supplies.
