In 2014, Southern Lakes ITM began their proud journey in conservation with the Kiwi Birdlife Park based in Queenstown. A family-run wildlife park, Kiwi Park is home to over 100 native birds and reptiles, and the land is lush with ferns, kōwhai, beech and more. All species that reside in the park are part of managed conservation programs through the Department of Conservation, including the kiwi and tuatara.
