CALCUTTA AUCTION
The Calcutta will be based on the team scoring the highest number of points as detailed in the ITM Fishing Tournament Rules. This includes points gained by sport fish length, game fish weight or tagged & released game fish.
Teams will be auctioned off at Thursday night’s briefing with anglers bidding for a chance to buy either their own or another team, the one they think might be the ‘top combination’.
The total pool money raised will be paid out to the successful bidders ‘owning’ the winning teams.
For example:
Total raised $15,000
Split into 1st, 2nd & 3rd
1st (75%) 11,250, 2nd (15%) $2,250, 3rd (10%) $1,500
For the purposes of the Calcutta the winning team is calculated on sport-fishing points plus game-fishing points x 2.
To be eligible to bid you must be a part of the ITM Trade Fishing Competition
All teams must be paid for in cash by the successful bidder on the night.
