Supercars and ITM are proud to announce a landmark expansion of their long-standing partnership, with ITM confirmed as the naming rights sponsor for the inaugural Supercars event in Christchurch, New Zealand, in April 2026.
This exciting development means ITM will hold naming rights for both the Christchurch and Taupō events—making it the exclusive naming rights partner of the first-ever New Zealand double header in Supercars history.
The announcement follows confirmation that Supercars will race at Christchurch’s Ruapuna Raceway from 2026 to 2028, marking the championship’s debut on New Zealand’s South Island.

The 2026 ITM Supercars double header will kick off in Taupō over the weekend of 10–12 April before heading south to Christchurch from 17–19 April, creating a two-week celebration of motorsport that promises to energise fans, boost local economies, and showcase New Zealand’s passion for racing on the global stage.
